Ground for amp behind passenger seat
Where are you grounding the amp when it is mounted behind the passenger seat? I bolted it to the seat bolt and have engine noise.
Any ideas?
P.S. I sanded the contact surfaces pretty good.

If I use the seat bolt I usually put the ground under the seat frame, touching the floor.
There's also an oem groundiing bolt under the plastic trim at the rear edge of the door. It's about a foot up from the floor IIRC.
C5/C6 in general seem to have bad alternator whine with aftermarket equipment, a pair of GLI's should get rid of it.

I simply grounded back to the battery. No problem with noise.
