Default Is PAC CM1 trigger active high or low?

Just curious if anyone knows. I recently installed a new Kenwood 6990HD in my 2009 C6 using the OS2BOSE, and am appalled at the cheap, nasty sound of the included CM1 module that now produces chimes.

Plenty of real car chime units on ebay, I bought one for a car I used to have for $20. It has both active high and low inputs for various sounds.

Does anyone know which way the CM1 is being triggered by OS2BOSE?

I could be wrong, but I believe the cm1 just has wires for B+, ground, and the data line. It generates the sounds itself based on info it decodes off the data line.
