Default Pioneer DEH-P47DH in an 89 Vette

Does anyone use this stereo in their Bose equipped C4 corvette? Do you have to bypass the amps? I'm pretty stupid when it comes to stereos.

I just pulled out a DEH-P47 to put in a Clarion HX-D10.

you pretty much have to use new speakers.

A bose adaptor can be used, but it doesn't work very well.

I would get the DEH-P77DH. It has the output for the Front/Rear/Subwoofer.
Put in 4 amps and 3 pairs of seakers (4 - front 2 - rear) and a pair to 10" subs. Had to rewire the whole thing...

I took my barely used system out of my 85 when I upgraded to a Z06. I am willing to sell all of the equipment. I have an almost brand new Alpine CDA-7837 remote controlled CD deck, C4 mounting Kit for it, 2 Alpine amps, Infinity Kappa triaxial 6x9s, Infinity triaxial Kappa 6.5s, custom mounting boards for the fronts, and the wiring harness connector for power/ground/power antenna. All equipment is now back in the original boxes with all original documentation.

Some pictures of the install:
