Parts numbers for a gm 12 disk cd player for a 2002

I have just purchaed a new C5 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=293237 One of the mods I NEED is the 12 disk player.I see eklers has one advertized with its assosory wireing harness.I wanted to see If I could get the gm part numbers and order it from the
gm parts.com web site.Thanks for your input

It's a plug in install.
try to find a used changer (alot cheaper than new), and buy the install kit from ken fitchner (cost around $90.00), it has the mounting brackets and wireing harness included.

the harness plugs in under the passengers side foot well, there are two connectors. :cheers:

I am in the process of taking out the stock bose system complete with the 12 disk changer. My 2002 Vert only has 2,000km and I have yet to put a CD in the changer. If you are interested in purchasing it please e-mail me. I will be in Florida the week of June 1st and can ship it more easily from there then from here in Canada.

Thank you for the offer I was able to order mine from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com12 disk changer part # is 12495746 and the harness is 12497876 the cost was under $400.00.If I was you I would keep the one you are removing incase you ever need it again.Or find the part number and the price for it on the web site I left a link to and sell it in the c5 parts section.Somebody is sure to need one.the indash player is it a cd or a casset player.

Yes it has the stock in dash single CD Bose receiver as well. If anyone needs to replace all or part of their Bose system let me know as my virgin Bose system is coming out in a few weeks.
