Actually, I finished it a while back but just haven't gotten around to posting up pictures of the final product. I'm off Sunday and Monday, I'll see if I can't wrap this install up with some final pics.

Would like to see a youtube of how all the features and especially for how it sounds, perhaps using a audio spectrum analyzer. I'm already thinking this is going to sound great!

Tuning the system is the one thing that has NOT been done that still needs to be done. I don't really know how to do it so I'm going to have to do a lot of reading to get that part done and work and RL has taken it's toll on my time here of late.

I was going to try and take some pictures today but it's been raining.

Just saw this thread because I am about to start building my Corvette. Nice work.

Well, I finally got around to getting the car cleaned and detailed and of course it rained the next day. Anyways, took some pictures of the final product today for all to see. Been done for about a year now and everything works great:

OMG, excellent job, you are quite amazing with car audio. Also, love the choice of components! I am just catching up with this thread and have only begun my car, but it will pale in comparison to what you have done. I also like the suede work in the car.

Nice job!

Thanks. Since my last posting a few months ago, I had one of the mids in the driver door go up in smoke seemingly random. Not sure what happened. So I turned off those channels on the amps and have been running just a 2 way system up front. Still debating if I want to pull off the door panels to put in new mid ranges or just keep it two way.

Jay, does your setup allow for individual speaker time alignment? or just crossovers and EQ settings?

Yes, it does allow for time alignment. All the amps are Zapco DC Reference amps. You can google them and download a manual that will give you full specs on their abilities. All the stuff can be accessed through the DRC which is a little stand along sort of "head unit" that you can adjust everything buts its a bit cumbersome to use because of all the features the amps have. It's much easier to use a PC with the software to make the changes.

IIRC there is an 11 band parametric EQ. You can also set crossover points on each channel as a pair or individually. You can set the slopes and choose between Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley crossover types. You can also set the gains for the amps. Everything is done through the software.
