boston 12.52 vs idmax12 ? gonna run Nakamichi amps

Anybody have opinions? Currently I'm running boston 6.53's in the fronts and eclipse 8253 5.25" speakers in the rear . I have a custom fiberglass box with mdf top made for a 10" sub.. I used to have a boston 10.52 in there and somereason blew that.. then put in a jl audio 10w3 and it couldn't handle alot of power.. then I put in a rockford fosgate 10" sub in there.. I loved the 10" boston 10.52 the best out of them all... I am running a MTX 405 amp to run my system. I'm gonna be replacing my amp with 2 new nakamichi amps, a pa-8001 (800w @ 2ohms, or 1000w @ 1ohms) to drive my sub and a pa-2004 (400w @ 4ohms x 2) to drive the boston 6.53's and gonna power the eclipses with the head unit just to fill the rears... I want to get another boston 10", I was thinking of upgrading to a boston 12.52 but now I hear all these good things about the IDMAX 12"... so anybody can chime in and tell me the difference please :blueangel: The only thing sucks about putting a 12" in there now is that I need to redo my box and that kinda sucks..
