i install used radio for my c6 2007
and theftcode is activated
i went to GM dealer for tech2 program
the technician ask me to get the code number for the radio
he told can"t deactivate the thefcode without the original code for the radio

is it true?? or he doesnt know how to use tech2 steps

Never heard of that. I sold my GM/BOSE Navi on eBay and the guy had it installed without a problem. Check with another dealer perhaps.

He doesn't know how to use a Tech2. It literally takes 2 minutes. Just has to be flashed. I have a Tech2 and have done it plenty of times.
