Default New HU - SYS light w/C68 HVAC

I understand that if/when I replace my Bose system in my 1991 C4, that I will need to install .5 ohm resistors somewhere in the wiring system because of the removal of part of the data stream from the HVAC unit which somehow involves the radio.

I know I will need to get a wiring harness adaptor and an amp bypass harness, but where do these resistors go??
