Ahh, spring weather is only 2 months away. Time for me to look at my yearly upgrade to my C6. I have the Bose / Nav / XM / Onstar system. Never been a big fan of the C6 Nav or the Bose sound system. I have read some good reviews of the dnx9140. The Garmin NAV is what should be installed in a 50K car! Bose has always stood for Buy Other Stereo Equipment. So replacing my stock unit looks to be this years project.

I have done some price searches on the dnx9140. But Kenwood's authorized dealer / inflated price policy sux. A friend who works at Best Buy says the store cost of the 7120 is about 960...a lot of markup I'd say! So I am looking for opinions on buying a 9140 from ebay or some non-Kenwoood dealer knowing that Kenwood won't honor warranty. Any suggestions on good price on 9140?

Last, I understand I need some adapters to keep the door chimes etc. But I'd like to know what features I will lose from the factory unit by switching over to the 9140. I seem to recall that I will lose something with the HUD...
