Default Decode Kenwood Model Number

Does anyone know how to decode a Kenwood model number? The numbers are all so similar that the specific features may be encoded there.

generally higher number = higher end thats about all the decoding u can do IMO

example 7140 higher end then 5140

and 5140 is the replacement model to the 5120
