Default SOUNDGATE GMCRV2- no longer available and some are bad

Just giving everyone a heads up.
I was on the phone with Lance from Soundgate today after a couple people have complained to me about not being able to figure out how to wire the new head unit with the GMCRV2. Well, Soundgate sent out a batch of incorrect peices that will not work in a C5. They are also telling me they will no longer be making this peice.

So
I am working on a replacement for the packages based on what Greg(pentavolvo) suggests as the best peice available

If anyone has any issues with a peice you purchased from me let me know and I will get a replacement for you.

For those that are wanting to use this peice. Your taking a chance if you have recently purchased one that it will be the correct harness for your install.

I just wanted to let everyone know there is a problem with the SOundgate GMCRV2

Anyone have any success with another peice please let me know as well what you used so I can put the best product into my install packges so noone has any issues.

I got one of the bad ones a few months ago and got nothing but the run around from soundgate.
They said that would call back and never did, when I called the person was always out to lunch or out sick.
I chalked it up to a lesson learned and will never buy anything from that company again.
Their customer service stinks.

Mine does not seem to work with the subs in the doors. I'm not sure if that's an impedance setting on the hideaway box or not, either way i"m a bit disappointed having no bass at all...

maybe its time for a small sub and amp...

Arghhh. Here I sit with my dash all apart and it looks like the little adaptor box has no matching connector into which to plug. Could you give us a little more detail? The kit you just sent me has an extra white connector attached to the main harness by a single black wire. The wiring instructions say nothing about where the other wires coming from this connector should go. It does talk about swapping a ground wire if the subwoofers in the doors don't work though. Do these extra wires just dangle?

Denis sent me a direct replacement which included the correct connector. Not sure if he was able to come up with an alternative product.
