Default polk MM521 won't fit in C6 mid pannel?

I looked on the what fits my car and it looks like the mounting depth is 1/8 too big. Anyone run these in the mid pannel. I just ordered the MM 6 1/2's for the front and wanted to match them. I dont think I can move the tweet like I can in the component set.

Anyone run these in a C6?

I just swapped out my rears a few days ago, even posted a HOW TO thread.

On the passenger side there's plenty of room. I was a bit worried about the drivers side. The speakers I installed have a listed top mount depth of 2.24" and it looked like the one on the drivers side just barely made it. The polks you listed show 2 3/8" top mount depth, so it would be real close on the back end, but if you really want them you can make some sort of insert to slide in between the speaker and the car since there's a good bit of room on the front side of the speaker before it would hit the grill. I recently read how someone cut up an old mouse pad to make a spacer for a speaker, since you'd only need 1/8" max that would be just about right.
