Toss 2008 Bose Amp?

I'm in the process of putting in a stereo, curious if you can remove the 2008 Bose amplifier without causing any problems with the stereo or car?

I'd like to put my crossovers for my front separates in the space that's occupied by the Bose amp.

I do not use OnStar, so that is not a consideration for me. (It's unplugged from the car)
