C6 Power Wire Routing Question

I plan to put a 250-300W Mini amp in the passenger side rear cubby for the JL stleath box on the driver side. I would think the easiest/best way to route the power wire from the battery to the rear passenger cubby would be under the car. Then also find a ground point close to this cubby. Does anyone have any suggestions where to route this power wire besides under the car? What size/length of wire should I buy? Also does any one know of the closest ground point without drilling a hole in the frame?

you can just run the power wire under the door sill and then under the carpet. A ground can be had on the rear hatch popper.
