Next project is sound deadening the car. Yup should have done it when I installed the stereo and had everything apart. I searched and couldn't find an answer to how much it takes to do a C5. Basically most of the interior. I was thinking 120 sq ft of RaamMat BXT and 140 sq ft of Ensolite.
I know Ant from Second Skin recommends 80-120 sq ft of damplifier pro to completely do the interior of the C6. Keep in mind that the DP is thicker and doesn't need to be doubled up at all like the RaamMat may need.

I agree. 80 will cover the critical areas. 120 will cover just about everything.
Rapp and listen (knock the panel/area in question). If it does not rattle, or resonate, you don't need to add additional material. We have fiberglass cars, which is a huge inherent advantage over your typical steel car.
Save some weight and $$$ and you could get it done with probably with 70 or less. I also like to ensolite product, I thought it made a measurable difference in my last truck install.

I'm gonna do as you suggest and start with rear hatch and wheel wells.
Would you use Ensolite or Dynamat Extreme? Or something else?
Is FrostKing good enough for the wheel wells (trying to save a little weight)?

Can you please post the materials details of your order (description, weights, part #'s and quantities)?
Hopefully a simple question..... Instead of spending $300-$500 and a lot of time to add sound deadening mat to the rear trunk area, couldn't you just make a partition out of the mat material/probably a couple layers thick that would block any noise from the trunk area for a lot less money???
Not really, although partitions do help with tire/road/exhaust noise reduction.
Resonance is one of the main things you are trying to minimize/eliminate with deadening (hence the term). These products also help with outside noise reduction, functioning as another barrier between you and the outside world (and keeping your music inside your car as well).
For the Ensolite question, you need to add RaamMat as necessary first, and using a layer of ensolite certainly helps to reduce noise, but by itself it does not add any mass to the area it is applied to, so it offers no real reduction in resonance.
