After market speakers for doors

Will there be noticeable improvement in sound quality by replacing the door speakers? I have the stock Bose woofers and they sound muddy.I have an Alpine HU also.

Do you plan on running an amp for them? Do you plan on using sound deadner in the doors and the reast of the car?

I would amp the new speakers and at that time use dynomat in the doors and i am now in the process of doing the trunk area with dynomat.Would the Alpine HU be powerful enough to run the front without an amp?

what if you get new door speakers with no amp will they be beter than stock? what does dyna mat do exactly?
