Where are you guys putting your lighters?

I have a double din unit made by C5bear. Just in the process of installation and noticed that on some of the dd threads people keep there cigarette lighters. What is the reason for keeping the lighter? and where is a good spot to put into assuming you get the dd unit without the ashtray? Pics would be very helpful.

some ppl keep it cause they feel they need it, everyone i have done where it wasnt kept we didnt relocate it anywhere, as it is u have accessory port

I still have some engines mods to make (heads and cam). In terms of tuning the car once the engine mods are made is there a need for the lighter (ie. plug in the tuner)?

there is a cig plug in the center counle that isnt effected

and all tuning should be done from the OBDII port as it is
