Please help with 5 Channel Amp

Okay I have Memphis 5 channel amp and here is my problem. I have been using the 4channel part for a while now and I finally got around tohooking up a sub. The problem is I am getting no signal or a very faint sound out of woofer. I checked connections everything is fine but can figure out why I cant hear it. I did notice an sub input for a mono rca, do i need to run a rca to radio to get a signal? Or do i just have a blow 5th channel? Thanks

prly need to hook up rca to the 5th channel, or is the gain not turned up

The gain is full blast. But i dont even think I have a sub connection on my Kenwood. Ill check it out.

there might be a switch on ur amp to adjust what rca's feed what, otherwise a pair of splitters on the rear channel rca's woudl help, also you dont wanna be running it with the gain maxed
