CD Headunit accomodate a CD Changer????

I am selling a Stock 12 Disc CD Changer. A buyer wants to know if he can hook the Cd changer up to his stock radio that has a CD in it?
I have seen some C5s with a CD in the radio and a CD changer in the trunk. Just looking for comfirmation.
