Default Question for AVIC D3 Owners...

Has anyone figured out how to get an I-Pod Touch or an I-Phone to play video or movies on the D3? When I use the Pioneer I-Pod interface, all I get is sound.

Thanks!

I also heard that Apple had a specific cable that I could buy, but I talked to the Apple rep at Best Buy and he had no idea what I was talking about.

It may be you need to activate "A/V OUT" in one of the menus. I know you do to use the 1/8 inch jack to get video out of that.

the new ipod touch is diff, apparently no video from the headphone jack anymore per what i just read and they dont just output video like the old ones do, apple changed the hardware a bit. we tried enabling the video output on his ipod touch when i did his avic d3 install
