Bass Levels on an 08

Not real happy with the bass levels on my 08. The speakers start cracking at a mid to high volume. Can anyone reccomend a good set of speakers that will drop in? (no modification to the door)

its not that easy... you can replace just the tweeter but not just the bose sub

to replace that you gotta go to components or something of that natura and add amps etc

If its just the bass levels your concerned with you can just add a sub woofer in the back and power it with a small amp. I use a JL Stealthbox and a 300/2v2 amp. It really adds that missing element to the sound.

what trim level do you have, BOSE? i have a 3lt and the speakers pound, i added a JL Stealthbox, and now i having funny, maybe the speakers are defective or something, b/c the bose speakers are really not bad.

I also had Bose in my 3LT. I started out just going to add the Stealthbox to the Bose system but I said to myself in for a dime,in for a dollar and changed out all the speakers(JL) added amps and also did a Kenwood 8019 headunit(needed a IPOD) at the same time.
