Default Static noise after f900bt install gmah24?

Im getting static buzzing coming from the speakers. I have it all grounded under the hood. Even when the nav is off there is static like the amps on all the time. I wired up the gmah24 all speakers and chime module. no noise when I unhook the blue white wire. The chimes and onstar work. onstar was loud as till I turned it down. Car is a 08 no bose. Any ideas?
I check the ground a few times.

Is it static like cracks & pops or is it alternator whine? The whine is unfortunately very common in our cars, the factory power source being pretty dirty noise-wise. If it's the whine then putting a ground loop isolator inline on the output of the Pio to the GMAH should knock that down.

More like you have an amp on and the volume high with nothing playing.
does it with the radio off also comes out of all the speakers. it actually goes quite when i push onstar and it turns the red light on. then after onstar is off it goes back to static. does pop a little when the onstar voice is speaking.

It got quieter when i turned the volume down on the module for onstar..
I think im going to go get the gmos-04. and swap out the modules. might be better anyway because it has the vss and rear wires.

gmos04 is garabage. do you have the remote hooked up so the amps are only on when the radio is on. id recommend ground loop isolators on the rca's i use them in every c6 just to avoid issues

As remote hooked up you mean the blue white wire? Yea im gonna get some ground loop isolators. thats what it seems like that the amp stays on. how should i have the speaker wires connected? would i still get static when the nav is off? It should turn the amp off when i turn the nav off right? maybe only turn it back on when it needs to use onstar?

I had the speaker wires to speaker wires no rca just had the nav rcas empty. so im guessing that is it. lol. So now i will go rca ground loop rca and should be good to go right? I was just following the instructions. should i use female or male rcas to go to the ground loop isolators? Didnt make it to radioshack yet.

Yea, Im with you on that. guess ill see what happens after i get going with the ground loop isolators. Everything else was working just the hissing when the volume is down and the radio off. It would go away for a few seconds when the onstar activates and deactivates. all connections are soldered and everything. one other thing it was doing was playing the system beeps almost full blast everytime i would touch the screen. I turned down the vol on the module and the beeps decreased in volume. dont see why the nav sounds would be tied in to the module volume.
