Using PDX 4.150 for Sub and 6.5 Components

I know this is possible. I will just bridge Channel 3/4 for the 10" 2ohm DVC that I am getting, and wire it in series. Question is, I will want to turn the filter totally OFF on the amplifer, and use the high/low pass filter on the deck correct?

The HP and LP filters on the amp and controlled independently for channels 1/2 and 3/4. You would still use the LP filter for the channels used to drive the sub.

Yes, 805Z06 did a setup very similar to this recently.

I've got basically the same set up on order. As stated, the amp can control 1/2 and 3/4 separately. You can still utilize your deck cut-offs though, just for extra measure.

I usually set the amp crossovers beyond where I want them, and use the deck to set it exactly, that way I have control from the deck if I want to do some fine tuning.

you can use either one or both

personally i always turn the Lowpass on for the sub at 150hz or so at the amp then set it where i want at the radio. this way if the radio gets reset you arent sending 1khz to the sub

Zach- I agree with everyone here. Since you are going with the Pioneer 8500bt you will have all the controls up front. I would set the 1/2 channels on the amp to Full pass and let the passive crossover from the componants and the deck do all the "fine" tuning. I would then bridge 3/4 and set the crossover to low pass and put it at about 100-120. Your going to want a bit lower freq. but control it at the deck to get precise. Better yet drop the car off and I will do it for you. Good luck buddy.
