C6 rip n replace options

I've browsed through the FAQ and have some experience in car/home audio (and used to run a high end cables biz /flamesuit), however I'm a bit at a loss on what to do with the C6. I've decided on the Pioneer F900/F90 for the head unit and 99% sure I'm going to use a JLAudio stealth box. I need help filling in the rest. I'm starting from a stock/base C6 setup.

Should I replace the door speakers with 6.5" coaxials like the JL C5s or look at the nekid speaker panels and go the component route or do something else entirely? What are some good options for the preferred scenario?

Fair to say the center speaker gets taken out regardless of other factors?

Do I need a rear soundstage? I know this is somewhat of a religious war but I'd like some input. I would think it would be fairly simple and inexpensive to add some coaxial speakers in the rear area for midbass fill but no personal experience to back that up. speaker options?

Finally amp choices... Looking at the JL 300/4v2 for front/rear speakers and then, hmm something, to power the stealthbox.

Amp mounting. I really like this solution - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2028908 Any other thoughts? I'd like to keep the amps out of sight and avoid having to use an amp rack in the hatch area. There's so little storage space as-is.

id ditch the rears and run a 4 ch to the frts and sub

Im a proponent of using rear fill speakers. " Wall of Sound " if you will. Its a real easy swap because the mounting points are there already. I have C5-650's in the fronts and XR-525's in the rears with a JL Stealthbox bringing in the lows. Im using a 450/4v2 and a 300/2v2 for the sub. I have a Kenwood 8019 headunit controling it all. It really sounds good. Some will argue about not doing rear speakers but I like it and so do all that hear mine.

thanks toxin. I'm actually going to use your design! Hope ya don't mind. I'm going to mount a 1F capacitor at the bottom them an Alpine PDX-5.

I ordered enough Canare LV-77S (100') and RCAP-77s (6) to run from the AVIC F900BT to the PDX-5. Planning to go with 12 awg speaker wiring.

I think I've decided on the Focal 130 CA1 for the rears then either the 165 KF or 165 KP for the fronts.
