ive installed many and no problems... sounds like noise from the interface id call manufacturer

i get the same thing with my scosche ipod adapter. its pretty annoying. i went to use it the other day and it fried my iphone. piece of crap snding it back for my money back

I've been using one for almost 3 years and I haven't run into this issue. I bought mine through mp3yourcar.com but the adapter is made by Peripheral; should be the same as yours.

If you recently bought it, I'd see if you could swap it for a replacement
