Default Should I reuse my old parts?....

So I just traded in my wife's S2000 and I have some aftermarket equipment left over from the trade. My audio system in my '03 Z06 is the stock Bose craptastic system, and I'm debating on whether or not to try and re-use some of the leftovers.

The parts I have are:

- Alpine 9827 single-DIN head unit
- Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.1 components (5.25" drivers)
- Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1 sub (I actually have 2 of these)
- 800W 2ch amp for the sub
- 400W 2ch amp for components

Would it be worthwhile to use this stuff? Everything is in great shape, and it sounded just fine in our S2000.

Since you know how the components sound and that you like them, makes perfect sense to re-use them. I'm sure you'll need to do something different for a sub-enclosure. Check out the C5 Audio FAQ stickied at the top to get an idea of what you'll need to do to get the stuff integrated into the car.

Good luck!

well 5.25 is small for the front, but it's "free" so why not?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I guess I could build an adapter plate easy enough.

As for the best route, I'm guessing replacing the door speakers with my components and then leaving the rears powered by the head unit / or weird Bose speaker amp things, right?

Yeah HU power for rears is probably the best thing to do.
