Avic D3 Install W/ Updated Pics Of Amp Install

I recently installed a new amp and subwoofer to y new system and it was the missing link, it sounds great, that base added to the stock bose was all i needed. The amp was a Kenwwod KAC 8104D 1000W mono, the sub was a Kenwood KFCXW1200f shallow series, and i also added an external dvd player into the AV inputs so the nav disc doesnt have to come out at all. I built a sub box using the dimensions i got from a CF member they were a perfect fit, if you want the dimensions i can email them to you PM me. I also built a amp cover to close in the amp and all the wiring it really cleans things up, i took it to a local shop and had it covered in black vynal and it looks great($150.00) if anyone has any questions concerning this install PM me Thanks again Brian(C5KIDD) and all the help from the CF JOE Here are some pics of the install I also added 2 small fans to the top of the amp cover to keep things cool and added an IPOD that my son bought me By the way i didnt include a pic of the sub covered by the stock compartment cover but it fits right over the speaker and allows you to use the trunk without damaging the speaker.

Here's something I've been wondering with the avic-D3 can the navigation disc be in your external dvd player you added? Or does it have to be in the HU?
I guessing it has to be in the HU and the external you added is for movies etc.
