Do you have any actuall pictures of the box, serial numbers, ect. Because JL Audio only sells to certain venders and Crutchfield is the only online vender.

Did these come from Crutchfield or another online vender? Would you be willing to take a picture of the serial number, so we can check with JL Audio to make sure its authentic.

yes they will fit. JL classifies them at 6.5, but Crutchfield gives them the extra bump.

You could fit 8"s in the door if you wanted. I recommend http://madvettemotorsports.com/ for that perfect cut on speaker plates.

If they are a legitimate pair of JL C5's N.I.B. why not return them for a full refund from the get go?

I got a deal because they messed up an order of mine and I had some credit with them. Also I spent over 3k with them. I don't any more "in store" credit. I can't buy z06 brakes with audio "instore credit".

My only thought in returning them is to have credit towards the Alpine IWA505 when it comes out. I thought a fellow vette user could use these.

Got it.
I have these speakers in my doors. They are really a top quality speaker. Alot of people in the know say they sound better than the ZR JL speakers. I agree!

I loved the sound of these speakers, and when I went to install them, my installer said he'd sponsor me some focals at %50 off.

I would have been stupid not to.

Im a car audio installer. They definitely do sound better then the ZRs. The ZRs have harsher highs, just a tad more mid bass, but harsher mids. The C5s are a much smoother, fuller speaker.

This is a great price on those speakers and pretty close to what actual cost is.
