Will any other GM radios fit in C4 ?

I have a '94 with the bose system which I have already adapted to use an aftermarket head unit. My question is will a later model head unit (C5 or maybe truck ?) fit in the dash ? I do realize that it would not be a plug and play affair with the wiring, I am only interested in whether or not it will actually fit in the dash.
