Default C6 DVD/NAV options

With useless info on sites like crutchfield about what is compatible with Vettes, what are my options for an aftermarket dvd/Nav HU for the 05' with Bose. I know of the D3...any others? Do all aftermarket Hu require a Nav cd? TIA

Any double DIN size unit will fit no problem. In addition to the Pio AVICs, there the Kenwood DNX7100 is very popular here, though there's a new model due any moment now from what I've read. I use an Alpine IVA-W205 in my truck and will be installing one in my C6 as well. It acts as a docking station for the Blackbird PMD-B200 portable NAV unit. Obviously the Alpine doesn't require a NAV DVD since it uses the portable, nor does the Pioneer AVIC Z2, which stores the NAV on a hard drive. There's an Eclipse model that uses a hard drive as well.

See, lots of options! Mostly it's about personal preference. Head to a brick & mortar and push some buttons, see which one you like.
