I did most of Steves stereo quite some time ago but never posted pics. I added the XM radio for him just the other day.

Radio: Stock with pac adapter
Frt Speakers: Elemental Designs EDI6000s
Rears: None
Sub: Elemental Designs 13kv
Subbox: corvettecaraudio
Amp: Kicker KX 650.4
Sat Radio: XM Commander w/hardwire modulator

As you can see we moutned it down in the ashtray area. Currently its just dbl sided taped in at the moment. We thought of cutting the ligher area a bit to flush mount the unit in, but Steve didnt want to cut the car up at all so we went with this. The unit works great and is super easy to use.

Amp mounted under where the top comes down as you can see with the top down. IMO this is a great place for an amp in a vert cause its basically wasted space.

and the sub

all in one sweet ride. 6spd with a nice catback

Now hes got some tunes to cruise to

It's a good start. I like the idea for the hidden XM receiver

Clean install......I also like the fact the XM can be 'hidden' when parked. My XM is also in the same place, but it's a larger older unit, so it won't fit as far in. Looks like I'll be upgrading that soon as well!
