Default thoughts on probox?

looking at getting the probox loaded with 1 10 for my crew cab silverado. was wondering what the thoughts were on them vs the JL stealthboxes since they are about half the cost.

You pay for what you get. They are nice pre-fab's but I would go with the JL stealthbox for quality.

I don't have personal knowledge, but I thought I was reading some where that someone wasn't as satisfied as they thought they would be with their probox.

But it is all personal preference!!! I would like to hear for myself how it sounds when you get it Brian.

Its a great box, subthump, corvettecaraudio, and user NVTHIS all make great boxes as well. The JL box is way overpriced IMO. Im sure going with a subthump, or NVTHIS, or even the probox will work great and save you a ton. The build quality is there dont worry about it. I have done installs in a number of vettes, ive touched the subthump, corvettecaraudio, probox, and jl. And honestly there is no reason to spend the money on the JL

Hey Brian I talked to with Neil and he said they were going to start and carry their line at one point, so I guess I was mistaken. Oh well it happens!!!

I have a Subthump box that I've yet had opportunity to install in my '07 Avalanche, it's a well-made piece. The owner, Steve, is a good guy and straight-up to deal with.

I had a subthump dual downfiring box in my 02 Chevy Extra Cab. Nice box, well made and my system sounded great. Worth the money imo.
