I was wondering about member experiences with the various factory integration units like the JL Cleansweep or Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.1 and 3Sixty.2.I am having second doubts about putting a new nav headunit in,as I don't really drive my car that much and like the stock appearance of the dash. I am installing two Infinity Kappa 10" subs in the corners in the rear,each with a class D amp.I have a four channel amp for the front speakers and am thinking of skipping the roof pillar speakers and just focusing on the front doors for mid and highs. I have Kappa components (6.5" with separate tweets) for that, though am thinking of also adding 3.5" in the doors as well. I noticed that some of these units will create a sound delay to help eliminate any phase differences due to speaker placement,and that appears to be a great feature and would eliminate the need for the center speaker to balance things out. I was also concerned that the Cleansweep only has two pairs of preouts and that may somewhat limit tuning options. These units are not inexpensive,so I would rather not waste the time or money if they don't work well.
Interesting, I would also like to know how good these would work with the stock NAV. I too am trying to stay with the stock head unit and delete the BOSE amp with new speakers.

And that is also correct, you wouldn't want to use the steering wheel volume because of how the CS works. Basically you set the main volume at a certain level and keep it there. Then the CS sets itself based on that, and you control the volume of the system with the CS itself. This requires you to mount a secondary volume knob from the CS somewhere.
I had a CS in my wife's xB (it made a world of difference in that car) and I'm about to install it in her new Mazda3.
However, like mentioned above, the C6 has clean lines from the BOSE so you don't need it. Just get better speakers and an amp to power them and you're set.
