No bass above 80hz??

I finished swapping the Audiobahn for the Xplod

Ive listened to pretty much low-bass songs so far. Mixalot, Godsmack, etc. The bass was LOUD on each one. But now I put in Mudvayne, and the machine gun bass is GONE. And even the Blue song has no kick to it. I didn't change crossovers or anything...

That is your mistake. Sony car audio stuff sucks....The audiobahn should stomp that speaker. And the Sony's have a bad habit of doing what their name inplies, EXPLODING...

If you are getting no low base, where do you have the crossover set at?? Also so you have the filter on the amp set to LPF?? IF it is on HPF you will get only highs......

Just a helpful hint, do some research before you throw out good equipment.

soundstream amps.
audiobahn 210 piston sub. i replaaced it with an xplod sub.
The channel im using is actually "sub only" iu think it is 70hz

70 Hz Shouldn't be the problem. It is definitely your equipment.

I can get you set up with some stuff if you want.....Let me know.
