Please tell me how to nerf the auto door look feature

This auto door lock feature drives me nuts. I must be an idiot because I can't find how to turn it off in the manual.

This might be a better question for the general boards, but I don't think that you can turn off the auto-lock function.

I'm gonna have to burn the car if that's the case. Let ME pick my friggin' safety options. I don't need some car company telling me when/how to lock my doors.

Auto Lock

To display and select the AUTO LOCK Options

Press the OPTIONS button until AUTO LOCK appears on the display,
Press the RESET button to page through the following choices:
AUTO LOCK ON
In a manual transmission, both doors will automatically lock when the vehicle exceeds 10 mph (16 kph)
In a vehicle with an automatic transmission, both doors will automatically lock when you move the shifter out of PARK (P).
AUTO LOCK OFF
Choose AUTO LOCK OFF to turn this option off.
