I finally got this head unit, and I've been installing it at my home off and on for the past few days. I also picked up the ipod and bluetooth adapters. I started testing out the features, and it works really well with my iphone via bluetooth.
Unfortunately when I tried hooking it up through the ipod adapter, it's not working as it should. The iphone recognizes that it's been plugged in, the screen says "iPod Accessory Attached." The HU knows there's an ipod connected, and it tries to load the songs. But the screen stays at the "loading" message, and does nothing else.
I know I saw, on crutchfield, at least 1 C5 owner with an iphone/KD-NX5000 setup, but they didn't report anything about the ipod connector. Does anybody else have this setup, and were you able to make it work?
