PAC or Peripheral - who gets it right the first time?

I'm getting ready to do a head unit swap in my DD (not a Vette, but this is the place to get straight answers).

I'll be using adapters for OnStar, Chimes, and Steering wheel controls (no Bose problems here).

Which company gets the adapters right the first time? I don't want to get four hours into this and find out the adapters are crap.

Go with the Peripheral units. PAC sucks.

I like PAC, plug and play. I have their AUX BOX and OEM1 adapter, works great.
