Default Strange problem with Pac-audio Aoem-vet1

Equipment:

Memphis Audio 100.4 amp
Memphis Audio 500.1 amp
Memphis Audio 3 way x over
Memphis Audio MClass 6 1/2" separates (front)
Memphis Audio MClass 5 1/4" separates (rear) (fit perfectly in stock 5 1/4" locations--crossover fit to the rear of the enclosure)
Memphis Audio M3 12" sub
Pac-audio Aoem-vet1

Stock head unit

I finished the install in my car but have a strange issue with the 12V trigger from the PAC interface. I used a standard bosch mini relay which is triggered by the blue wire to provide remote turn on for the 2 amps and the x over. If I turn the car on, and turn the stereo on, the amps and xover will not turn on. If I disconnect the trigger wire from the relay , and reconnect, the amps all turn on. The circuit is getting 12+V. I checked and tested all my soldered connections. I thought it might be a bad relay so I jumped straight to one of the amps, and it did the same thing. I really can't figure this one out..... my next step is to take power from my antenna trigger....and see if that fixes the problem.

Anyone have any ideas or had similar issues?
