Default C6 - whats the latest and greatest for the "speakers behind the seats" area?

I have a full Dynaudio system in the doors of my C6 powered by JL Audio. I was thinking I'd put a pair of MB Quart QSD 21 coax in the spaces behind the seats. What are your other high end suggestions (for this area only) that will match up well with the Dyn's?

Alot of folks around here don't believe in rear fill, or find it unnecessary, so you'll likely get recommendations to just forget it. But since it's just for fill I wouldn't drop too much $$$ back there, just a quality speaker if you do want to do it. Focal makes coaxial in their Access and Polyglass lines. I believe the Access even come in 5.25" versions. That would be a solid speaker that would avoid screeching at you back there and therefore kill the quality of the Dyn's.

Putting mb quartz in a system with Dynaudios is akin to filling a comfortable leather chair with needles and razorblades.

You probably couldn't find two more opposite speakers.

Why do you want rears? they will just screw up your stage and add more cancellation into the mix.

If you MUST do it, I'd suggest finding just a simple midrange, no tweeter, and running it from the head unit. This will "fill in your sound" if thats what you are looking for, and it will screw up your soundstage much less than a coaxial.

A pair of these:

I'm not sure what the mounting diameter and depth is in a c5 though.

I totally agree that you don't need speakers back there. In my C5 I find that the rear speakers just overpower the front ones far too much and I need to set the fader all the way forward, and even then the stage seems to be too far behind me instead of in front of me. I'm now going to add an amp to my front speakers (they are currently running on deck power) to hopefully give enough power to the fronts so that the stage is moving a lot further forward.

When I eventually get a C6, the plan will be to eliminate the center channel, eliminate the rear speakers and just run a good set of components up front (like Focals) and then a 10 or 12" sub (or two?) in the back.
