OK. This site is a double edged sword. Good edge:I found the exact answers, thanks to you all, to what I need and want to do to my sound system. Bad edge: I ran across all this sound deading stuff What Im doing: double din with Boston Coustic SL60 components in doors. 1 flush mount 12" box in rear compartment. 1 4 channel amp for it all. Question: 1: will it be that bad without edead? 2: while I have my doors apart, I will probably do the edead material, but what can I do to keep it very minimal on doors and rear cargo area. I read Kale's write up on edead, liquid, and the foam stuff but dont think I want to go that far due to weight, and time consumed? In a minimalists eyes, can I live without the liquid??? and what would be the minimum needs?
