Radio reception SUCKS....

I have an 07 with the base, non BOSE radio. I have no problem with how cd's sound, but the FM radio reception is absolutely horrible. Does anyone else have this problem or does it sound like its my radio ??

The cars have an antenna amplifier that is supposed to kick on when you choose the radio. While FM reception isn't great in these cars it should be decent in all but remote areas. If you're getting something unlistenable, it could very well be the antenna module has failed and you need a trip to the dealer.

Thanks, we were 30 miles from Baltimore the other day and couldn't even pick up their local channel without static. We weren't in the sticks either, we were out in the wide open on the highway. We'll get it checked out.
