I posted about a problem I was having with my eD subs on ICIX. It turned out that they were just wired out of phase so I went back to post that i fixed it and it was just out of phase and low and behold my post has been deleted. It wasn't even a negative post, i was just trying to figure out what the problem was. I have heard about posts being deleted for this very reason so i tried to make it as nice as possible asking what the problem may be. I did not even get a pm saying to contact them directly or anything like that, my post (which had a few replies in it) just vanished. Thanks but no thanks dealing with a company like that

i deal alot with ED and really cant complain about em. My understanding is posts do get deleted sometimes when it is an issue that should be taken up by the company. Now while ED does support/own the forum they arent the sole moderators of it. I personally know the owner ben and am good friends with him and its not like he just goes in and deletes stuff, the mods are people outside of the company

I wouldn't spit on old ED to save them. My first experience was really bad, with some really ****ty (lack of) support from their side.

Lately though, I've had good experiences with them. I htink they have really turned around.

ive been running a 13kv.2 for 2+ years no problem, but stuff like that pisses me off. In no way did I ever say these subs blow, blah blah, i just was trying to figure out what the problem may have been. I guess all you can post on that site is saying how awesome everything is

That sucks that they deleted a post like that. Maybe they had their reasons, but should have stated why they deleted it instead of leaving you and others in the dark.

Ben has two types of feedback in the audio world, either people like him, or would not piss on him if he was on fire

Those boards, regardless of what anyone tells you, are kept full of love and glowing reviews of ED, and all other outlook or opinion is quickly moderated. Whether this is done in house, or by outside agents, the order is given from the company to keep it that way.

Penta, I am not trying to hate, but ask your buddy Ben where his "shallow mount design" sq10 came from. I am curious to hear the answer.

Polishdude sorry to hear about your issues and glad you worked them out.

Hey to everyone his own opinion, i mean some people preach JL, personally ill never buy there product just because I find there pricing to be rediculous

THE SQ10 design thing was beat to death about it being stolen etc, or someone stealing from ED. On the icix forum there were a number of topics regarding it.

One thing that doesnt make sense to me about eDs story about the SQ10 and how it was stolen from them by TB is if that was the case how come TB has a matching 6x9?

Either way after what happened I am done with that forum, I can now see I will not get an unbiased answer on that forum.

Heh ED getting their design stolen by TB. Ya I have a bridge to sell you too if you believe that one. Tang Band is a design house for lots of speaker manufacturers. That is like saying Arc audio did not contract Image Dynamics to build their subs

See the first comment, just like there are hardcore chevy or ford people, there are hardcore ED fans and people that would not have a system in their cars if they were the only audio manufacturer in existance.
