Which is best Component speaker??

I'm debating between the Elemental Designs 6000s v.2 or the BOSTON ACOUSTICS SX60. Anyone ever tried either of these? Was leaning more toward the 6000s v.2 because the tweeter can be connected to the speaker. But how do they really sound? As for other brands, how is everyone mounting the tweeter to the edge of the speaker in the ppics?? thanks!

Im putting my money on the Elemental Designs I love em, really nice speaker. I have put those 6000s in 5 of 7 installs since the first of the year. Some forum memebers will hopefully chime in. DPG and TOBASCO heard them in an install I did a few weeks ago

Thank you. I was just waiting for someone to praise them...I think I'll go with them...I really like the tweeter idea they have. I never noticed on their site what wattage they are...would you happen to know?

its 100rms, the 6000s were just totally redesigned so all the info isnt on the website yet. I loved the old model and the newer model which came out a few mnths ago is steps above the old one. They dont really come with instuctions on how to mount the tweeters but if you call the guys they will walk you through it all a great company to deal with. I have been using there subs, speakers, and amps for about 3 years now and couldnt be happier. Also you want to put some sound deadening in those doors as well.

Which amp and sub do you run?? Also, what watt amp would I need to properly run those speakers and one sub?

I have the elementals that penta installed and love them. Great bang for your buck!
