Rear camera Avic Z1

I want to install a rear camera in my C5 and I need to know if the Pioneer Avic Z1 has the software to reverse the image or do I need to find a camera that will reverse the image.

The Z1 has a dedicated Rear camera input. Are you sure its not already reversed?

I am not sure. I want to know if someone can tell me what type of camera I will need.

I just put in an Avic D3 and a rear camera and the image is automatically reversed. All the Avics that have a rear camera input do this, I think. The Pioneer camera is awesome: very sharp, great color, really small, but extremely wide angle. It's hard to know how close you are to objects behind you because of it, but at least you can see if there are any kids or other things that might mess your car up if you hit them. For the extra $200, it's a great toy.

I used this camera with my Z1 and installed it like this'
