Well if he won't answer I will. I'm looking at putting in a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB head unit. I know someone has recommended the Soundgate GMCRV1 as the adapter. My question is that Soundgate states you must have a head unit with high voltage speaker outputs. How can I find out if the Pioneer has them? Most sales people just know how to turn it on and that's it. Thanks, David

High level outputs are just another name for the speaker outputs on the back of almost every head unit. Your unit is rated at 50w X 4 and you can use those outputs (LF, LR, RF, RR) for your adapter.

Good Luck,
Thank you, this whole mess started out just wanting to add an Ipod. We have his and hers C5's I already have two Ipod2car adapters. It's been a real hassle getting the right adapters. So...... I've waiting on one PXHGM-4 adapter. And maybe I'll be able to find one more, but I'm thinking on changing out the head unit on the 04' CE. Thanks again, David
