I Give Up !!! Delco Base Question..

I have an 03 C5 Z. I got this vehicle about 2 months ago and I noticed right away that the stock Delco radio will not produce any base whatsoever. The Base adjuster does nothing. I have always been more of a motor/ suspension guy then a Stereo guy but do love music. Any ideas or am I screwed.. I have done searches here as well as the net but couldn't find anything specific to troubleshooting this system or dealing with base control. The speakers all work, treble works, balance and fade work also. So, any ideas.. ? Thanks in advance...

first question is are the origonal bose drivers in the doors they could have been replaced which would explain no bass. also check the owners manual there are 2 fuses for the bose subs i believe

Thanks I'll check the fuses as well as the door speakers, Say there not stock what should I then do in order to restore some base.. ?

hoesntly if they arent stock speakers in the door ur only way to get bass is to either replace whats in there with the stock bose enclousres or drop a sub in the back
