Default last few pieces

Almost have everything for the new system. Just lacking a sub enclosure, speaker plates, sub woofer grill, and RAP adapter.

You wouldn't think this stuff would be a problem. Tried to order from corvettecaraudio but the site kept emptying my cart every time I tried to continue shopping tried to email subthump and got no response

Can you say frustrated?

Any suggestions? How about this, does anyone know where I can get 6.5" speaker rings cut at an angle so I can face the speakers up and in a little? (will that help the sound stage?). I'd plan on mounting them on top of the speaker plates (if I can manager to get some ordered).

I've seen information both ways I think... Do I need an adapter (plug or otherwise) to maintain my RAP? Do I need it for antenna control?

Okay, I feel a little better. Thanks for listening.

You need a special adapter for RAP, power antenna you need nothing special. Try calling up dave at corvettecaraudio i know he has been having website problems lately

The angled speaker mounts I did were custom.

(note, i ended up using 1/4" MDF for the main plate and mounting the tweeter closer to the woofer in the final application)

Just cut 3 layers of .75" MDF speaker rings, layer them and you get this.

Decide what angle you want (mine was 30 deg) and use a belt sander to sand down the edges. You can use screws or wood glue to hold the speaker rings in place while you sand them.

i HIGHLY reccomend a belt sander for this....if you use an orbital, you'll be at it or hours even with 40 grit.

Oh and about corvettecaraudio.com, the website's been messing up for a while. just give him a call and he'll set up an order over the phone. IMO it goes faster because you don't have to wait for him to check the computer.
