Default C5 - Which color wire is pos & neg??

I am installing a amp and need to use the rear speaker wires for the amp inputs (instead of rca cables) and I am needing to know whick color wire going into the rear speaker is positive and whick color is negative??? Also for the "remote" wire on the amp what do I use for that?? Thanks

If you are looking for any sound quality, I would not go for a line level input. Spend the 50 bucks and get the PAC adapter.

I know it is not what you asked, but I just offering some advise. The line level inputs sound like crap, IMHO.

Also, the answer to your question is in the C5 FAQ sticky above.

There really arent any lows at the rear speakers in a C5 you gotta tap at the headunit or use a PAC adapter

PAC-AOEM-VET1

Will give you RCA's that have the correct frequencies and a remote wire to turn on the amp.

If you are looking to save some $$$ get it off ebay. They retail for $79. Ebay has them for $50 you need the PAC AOEM-VET1 to add an aftermarket amp to the stock headunit.
