Default Received the new speaker plates....very impressed.

I just wanted to throw some kudos out to the gentlemen making and selling the C6 speaker plates (Komoman and Pipedream). From the pictures, I wasn't sure they would be thick enough for my application. I am very impressed with the quality and they are thicker than I thought. Great Job.......now my only problem is after reading some of these threads I'm thinking of going with a 7" midbass driver instead of Focal K3P's. My credit card thanks you people.

Thanks for the kudos. The canvas phenolic material I use for those things is far more stiff, dense and strong than MDF so you can get away with using a thinner (and therefore lighter) plate.

You could easily cut those plates to open them a bit for the slightly larger midbass you're considering. Just use a sabre saw and take your time with it.

Thanks again for ordering the plates!
