Need advice replacing radio

Hi all, I am a noobie to car audio but I do know my way around a soldering iron.
I need some advice, I have a new 06 Silverado 1500 that has the base radio, single CD
Player NOT MP3 able and no satt radio or aux audio in. Since I am half deaf all
I need is a desent quality radio that will play MP3’s have satt ready and aux in. The speakers in my PU say Bose but the head unit does not. So what do I need?
What system is the most bang for the buck, where is the best place to purchas the
Equipment on line, what adapters will I need and what can I expect to pay. Now I know
This is not a Corvette but I trust you guys so show some pity. Thanks Jim.

There are a lot of options for you. If you have bose on the speakers, this probably means you have a bose system in your car and that the headunit is the standard delco unit. No worries. you can basically pick any headunit you want that meet your requirements. Are you looking to replace the speakers at all? Or just the headunit?
